Вино красное Хванчкара. Semi Sweet Wine

Сто лет назад, в 1907 году на международной выставке в Бельгии произошла сенсация. Вердикт дегустационного жюри потряс не только виноделов, но и всю общественность Европы. Строгих и привередливых мэтров поразило и взволновало вино, представленное на их суд князьями Леваном и Дмитрием Кипиани. Они единогласно присудили вину из малоизвестной Грузии, а тем более ее прекрасного горного края - Рачи, высшие награды конкурса - Grand Prix, золотые медаль и жетон бельгийского короля Леопольда II.

Это был не только личный успех Левана и Дмитрия Кипиани. Триумф вина из Рачи практически стал первой, возможно, дерзкой, но убедительной заявкой на лидерство Грузии в сфере мирового виноделия, а «Хванчкара», как ныне именуется это вино, за 100 лет, прошедших с момента его первого триумфа, многократно доказывало, что по праву занимает достойное место в ряду лучших мировых аналогов. Поклонников и ценителей «Хванчкары» в мире не счесть. Имя им - легион.

Nikortsminda Church


A National Monument of Georgia, and an example of medieval Georgian architecture, is located in the village of the same name. The church was built between 1010-1014.
