Asparagus Salmon
In Germany, many people consider the asparagus season to be the nicest time of year! Smoked salmon has long since become established in spring-time cuisine as a suitable accompaniment to asparagus. This is because the aromatic taste of the fish blends perfectly with the delicately mild flavour of the asparagus.
Only prime-choice salmon from top sources is used in FRIEDRICHS Asparagus Salmon. The freshly caught salmon is smoked over alderwood using the classic method for several hours. After a protracted phase in which it is allow to settle and mature, the fish unleashes its smoky aroma. An extra pinch of salt gives it a particularly full-bodied taste. The thicker slices go perfectly with asparagus and new potatoes, a touch of melted butter or of sauce hollandaise.
